These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of knewr websites, products, and services (the “Service”), operated by Knewr AI (“knewr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, signing up for an academy, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. The Service

knewr provides tools for training academies, including live classes, AI-assisted teaching, online courses, certifications, analytics, branded experiences, and related features. Features may change over time as we improve the platform.

2. Accounts & academies

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials.

• You may request a subdomain or academy workspace as part of signup. Subdomains must not infringe others’ rights or violate applicable law.
• We may reject, suspend, or reclaim names that are abusive, misleading, reserved, or otherwise inappropriate.
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an academy account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Without limitation, you will not:

• Violate laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or deceptive communications
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate others
• Resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted in writing

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (“Customer Content”), such as course materials, lectures, recordings you upload, and academy branding. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and otherwise use Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Customer Content and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate or transform content (for example, narration or teaching assistance). AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted content before relying on it for learners, assessments, or certifications.

6. Plans, trials & payments

Paid plans, trials, and pricing are described on our website or in an order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may change pricing with notice for renewal periods.

7. Confidentiality & security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Service. You are responsible for configuring access within your academy and for the security of devices and networks you use to connect to knewr.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNEWR AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify knewr against claims arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
